Hire by discipline / Analytics & CRO
Hire an analytics or CRO specialist
The least glamorous discipline on this list, and the one that most often makes every other engagement worth what you paid for it.

When you should not hire this yet
Conversion testing needs traffic. Below a certain volume, a test cannot separate a real improvement from noise, and running one anyway produces confident conclusions that are wrong — which is worse than having none. If your site sees few visitors, the honest sequence is to buy traffic first and optimise it once there is enough to learn from. Measurement setup is still worth doing early; structured testing is not.

Judging a hire
What good looks like here
Specific to this discipline, because the signals that separate a strong hire from an expensive one do not carry across from one area of marketing to another.
They audit what you already have first
Most accounts are already collecting something, and most of it is subtly wrong — duplicated events, missing conversions, filters that quietly exclude real traffic. Rebuilding before auditing throws away history that could have been salvaged.
They tell you when a result is not significant
The value of a testing specialist is largely in the tests they refuse to call. Someone who reports every variant as a winner is reporting noise.
They connect the measurement to a decision
A dashboard that changes nothing is a cost. Ask which decision each metric is meant to inform, and be suspicious of any that cannot answer.
Briefing it
What to put in the brief
You do not have to write this in marketing language — describe it plainly and the AI drafts a structured brief you can edit. But matching is only as good as what it is given, and these are the details that change which specialists come back.
- What is installed today — GA4, GTM, any other tools
- Roughly how much traffic the site receives
- Which actions count as conversions for your business
- Whether you have had measurement problems you already know about
- Who can deploy changes to the site
Specialists
Published analytics & cro profiles
Profiles appear here only where the specialist has completed verification and opted in to publishing. Placement cannot be purchased.
No published profiles in this discipline yet. Specialists are verified before they can publish, and publishing is theirs to opt into — so this list fills up as verification completes rather than on launch day.

What is the difference between analytics and CRO?
- 1AdSTARS Connect introduces businesses to independent specialists and administers the engagement. It is not a party to the contract between them and does not perform the contracted work.
- 2Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.
