Pricing
Free to find. Paid when it works.
No subscription, no bidding credits, no listing fees, and nothing to pay to see your shortlist. One commission, taken from work that has actually been approved and paid.

Two segments, one number between them
The platform takes its commission once, from the specialist, as a milestone releases. There is no second fee on the client side.

The same numbers both sides see in the app before anyone commits — drawn to scale.

The commission comes out of the release
Not off the top of your budget. You fund the amount written into the contract, and the specialist is paid that amount minus the platform's 12%.
- No platform surcharge is added to the client side
- No commission at all on a cancelled or refunded milestone
- Deducted at the moment of release, never invoiced up front
- Payment processing is the provider’s, shown before you confirm
Ways to buy
Projects, packages or a retainer
All three run on the same escrow and dispute mechanics. The difference is how the scope is cut.
Milestone project
The default. A brief becomes a proposal with milestones; you fund and approve them one at a time.
Best for a defined outcome with a clear end.
Fixed package
A specialist lists a scoped deliverable at a set price — an audit, a tracking rebuild, a landing page. You buy it as-is.
Best when you know exactly what you want.
Retainer
Recurring milestones on a fixed cycle, each funded and approved like any other, so ongoing work keeps the same protection.
Best for continuous channel management.
Fees, in full

Worked examples are shown in euros. Escrow funding and payouts are available wherever Stripe supports both the client and the specialist involved, and the currency of a milestone is confirmed before it is funded. Fees, escrow terms and the verification policy apply.
- 1The platform commission is currently 12% of the milestone amount, deducted from the specialist as the milestone releases from escrow. The client funds and pays the agreed milestone amount with no additional platform fee. The rate is set at platform level and may change; any change is notified in advance under the terms and does not alter milestones already funded.
- 2Payment processing costs are charged by Stripe, our regulated payment provider, and depend on the funding method used. They are displayed before a payment is confirmed and are not retained by AdSTARS.
- 3Enterprise and agency terms, including negotiated commission on committed volume, are agreed in writing and may differ from the published rate.
