The real difference is what a claim has to survive
On a general marketplace, a marketing freelancer’s track record is whatever they typed into their profile. There is no mechanism that could check it — the platform has no access to the ad account where the result happened, and no reviewer who would know what to look for if it did.
That is not a criticism of the model; it is the cost of covering every category. A platform serving translators, illustrators and developers cannot also read Google Ads APIs.
Because we only do marketing, we can. A result published at the top verification level is read from the connected advertising account, checked by a person against the claim, and published only with the client’s recorded consent — which that client can revoke, at which point the result disappears from the profile and from every share link.
